PHILIPS K CHERIAN FCA - FOUNDING PARTNER

Philips K Cherian qualified as a CA in the year 1983 securing 34th rank in final exam. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1988.

He also qualified as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), having passed examination of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Illinois, USA in the year 2000.

Before founding PCA, he worked with Fraser & Ross, Chartered Accountants, at the time the Indian Associate of the international firm Deloitte, Haskins & Sells where he lead audit teams for audit of companies like Apollo Tyres Ltd., Peirce Leslie India Ltd., Harrisons Malayalam Ltd., Aspinwall & Co.Ltd., Amul Ltd., Peermade Tea Company Ltd.

Philips K Cherian is widely travelled, having visited over 20 countries in connection with professional consulting assignments as well as for social work.

His areas of expertise include Indian Company Law, Indian Income Tax, Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Collaboration matters, Venture Capital consultation, Systems and Management Audits.

He is an active member of Geneva based Ys Men international and served as a Board Member, International Treasurer for 6 years and Accounts Manager for over a decade in the organization.

He has also conducted various trainings in internal audit, systems audit, internal controls and taxation for several organizations.

GEORGE ISAAC FCA - PARTNER

George Isaac is Chartered Accountant with over three decades of hands on experience at senior management levels across various sectors and industries - manufacturing, contracting, oil and gas services and trading. He has core expertise Financial management, Internal Controls, developing and executing strategy, Financial Analysis, and delivering cost optimisation and savings in environments of high competition and tight margins.

George has worked in multiple countries - India, Bahrain, UAE (Dubai) and Qatar.

Prior to joining PCA in 2018, George was CFO of a US$ 150m Qatar based group, engaged in providing a range of services from fabrication to plant maintenance to safety training principally to International Oil and Gas majors such as Shell, Maersk, QatarGas, Qatar Petroleum, and others.

George has considerable experience in ERP implementations, having lead two major organization wide ERP implementations and multiple smaller functional implementations. George was also active in professional bodies and is Past Chairman of Doha Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Past President of CA Toastmasters, Doha, Qatar.

ABRAHAM MC FCA - PARTNER

Abraham M.C. is Partner with expertise in audits of Government Organisations, Internal Audits, Reporting and Work flow/ System studies, Management and Productivity studies and Procedures. He has been associated with firm from June 2007.

He has rich experience in very senior positions, immediately previously as the C.E.O. of one of the premier central Public Sector Undertakings in the country. He joined M/s Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd, Pimpri, Pune, as Director (Finance) in February, 1996 and was elevated as the Managing Director of the Company in March, 1998. Since then he was successfully running the Company for nine years till his retirement on superannuation in March, 2007.

Prior to his joining M/s Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd in February 1996, he was working as the Financial Controller in M/s Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd in their Lucknow Division. He worked in different capacities in that Company for about ten years i.e. from1987 to 1996. He started his career in 1972 with M/s Bharat Electronics Ltd after passing C.A. final examination with remission of one year in training period and was in continuous service till his retirement in March, 2007.
